Hi Annabelle,
My name is Inneke, and I just chanced upon your blog and find it inspiring :). My father was born in Solo but grew up in Timor, I myself grew up in Australia. But I’ve in recent times feel the need to understand a little more of my heritage and would like to make a trip to Java sometime next year. Part of my interest lies in dance and so I would like to get any recommendations on dance classes or teachers in Solo or Yogyakarta. I don’t have a huge dance background and certainly not in traditional dance but would love the opportunity to learn and appreciate the form for myself. Hope to hear from you,
